Another afternoon of fires in Sardinia , with a series of calls and requests for intervention to the Fire Brigade, Forestry Corps, Civil Protection, Barracelli, and volunteers from north to south . There are 13 emergencies in the south of the island alone , with the most alarming situation in Nuraminis, where the intervention of two Canadair planes from Ciampino was requested.

A fire broke out in the Sant'Orsola neighborhood of Sassari , with flames engulfing a large section of vegetation on Via Spanu Satta, causing fears that the fire could spread to homes. Firefighters, Barracelli firefighters, and the Forestry Corps responded to the scene. It took crews over an hour to extinguish the blaze.

Flames also broke out in Siniscola , in the Spiaggia S'Aliterru area, where the Forestry Corps intervened with the support of two helicopters from the Anela and Fenosu bases.

Another fire is also raging in the countryside of the municipality of Bonnanaro , in the Sassari province, near Funtana Peideru. The Forestry Corps responded to the scene with the support of a helicopter from the Anela base.

Two Canadair aircraft and two Forestry Corps helicopters are in flight in Nuraminis , where flames have attacked the countryside towards Monastir. Two firefighting teams are on site, supported by a 4x4 tanker and several volunteer teams sent by the regional Civil Protection Department. Alarms are being raised and firefighting operations are also underway in Villaspeciosa and Serramanna.

In Tuili, the Forestry Corps is responding with a helicopter in the Serra Iddas area. In Quartu , a fire has broken out in the "Is Meris" countryside, devouring scrub and Mediterranean scrub. The alarm was raised immediately, and volunteers from the Quartu NOS, the Sinnai VAB, the Forestry Corps, and the Fire Department responded immediately, having already extinguished the flames and begun cleanup operations.
