There are 13 emergencies in the south of the island alone , with the most alarming situation in Nuraminis, where the flames, fanned by the wind, reached the village and two helicopters and two Canadairs from Ciampino were deployed.

About a thousand hectares of land, including some village houses, a retirement home, and several sheepfolds, were in ashes, surrounded by the fire, which was later extinguished. The Sardinian Civil Protection, Fire Brigade, Forestry Corps, associations, and volunteers were on site.

A fire broke out in the Sant'Orsola neighborhood of Sassari , with flames engulfing a large section of vegetation on Via Spanu Satta, sparking fears that the fire could spread to homes . Firefighters, Barracelli firefighters, and the Forestry Corps responded to the scene. It took workers over an hour to extinguish the blaze.

In Tuili, the Forestry Corps is in action with a helicopter in the Serra Iddas area. In Quartu , a fire has broken out in the "Is Meris" countryside, devouring scrub and Mediterranean scrub . The alarm was raised immediately and volunteers from the Quartu NOS, the Sinnai VAB, the Forestry Corps, and the Fire Brigade intervened, having already extinguished the flames and begun cleanup operations.
