It's now official: " Aeroitalia is leaving Sardinian territorial continuity ." This is according to the press release issued by the airline a few minutes after 5:00 PM. CEO Gaetano Intrieri confirmed the departure this morning, during a meeting at the Ministry of Transport with ENAC and the Region. The coming months promise to be challenging for travelers: five routes currently operated by the carrier must be reassigned: from Cagliari and Olbia to Rome and Milan, plus Alghero-Fiumicino.
