A 40-year-old woman from Cagliari was transported by air ambulance to Brotzu Hospital in critical condition following a traffic accident this morning on State Road 125 in the Maracalagonis area.

According to initial reconstructions , she crashed her car into a pole on the old Orientale Sarda highway, near Villaggio dei Gigli . No other vehicles were involved.

On site, in addition to the 118 personnel and the air rescue, a team of firefighters also intervened .
