The second robber who participated in the assault on the pharmacy in Corso Vercelli in Turin was also constituted, in which a carabiniere, 53-year-old Maurizio Sabbatino, who was trying to disarm the criminals, was seriously injured.

It is an 18-year-old: the young man presented himself at the police station in Falchera. The accomplice, a 16-year-old, had turned up in the night : he would have been the perpetrator of the stabbing.

THE RECONSTRUCTION - Meanwhile, investigations continue to reconstruct what happened yesterday:   from the images of the video surveillance camera of the pharmacy, we can see the soldier of the Arma, who at that moment was free from duty and was buying medicines, qualify for the two criminals who, with their faces covered by balaclavas, were holding the pharmacist and two customers.

The brigadier, unarmed, throws at the robbers of the products to distract them. At first the latter seem to surrender, then one of the two shoots a pistol which later turned out to be a scacciacani, at the carabiniere's address. Then the robbers try to escape, but there is a fight and one of the two, probably the 16-year-old now in custody, is seen hit with a Sabbatino knife.

OUT OF DANGER - The soldier was operated on in the night at the San Giovanni Bosco hospital, where he was transported for injuries to the liver and lungs.

The surgery was successful and he was transferred to intensive care, but fortunately he is out of danger.

The Minister of the Interior, Luciana Lamorgese, expressed her heartfelt "closeness." His gesture of intervening while he was off duty, he said, is yet another testimony "to the altruism and generosity of the women and men of the Police forces always willing to put their safety at risk to ensure the safety of citizens ".
