The victim is a 35-year-old man : this is the same person that the firefighters had been looking for since this morning, since he was missing. At first, it was hoped that the man was not at home at the time of the explosion : his cell phone was off, but the car, according to people who knew him, was parked under the building.

A 12-year-old boy is in serious condition and has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Regina Margherita children's hospital with burns on 30% of his body . A six-year-old girl is also hospitalized in the same hospital, in good condition, and is being kept under observation as a precaution.

At the Cto in Turin, a 19-year-old girl has already been discharged, who was given a prognosis of seven days. In the next few hours, a 45-year-old woman will also be discharged with a ten-day prognosis, and a 24-year-old boy, who was given a 21-day prognosis.

According to rescue workers , the fire — which broke out following an explosion, the causes of which are still being ascertained — developed in an attic on the top floor of a building . In addition to the attic, two apartments were also involved. The roof of the building collapsed.
