An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 was felt in Naples and the Campi Flegrei area at 12.47.
The epicenter was located in the Bacoli area - at a depth of 5 km - and the earthquake was clearly felt also in the capital of Naples. Many people poured into the streets and train traffic was temporarily interrupted as a precaution.
The magnitude of 4.6 is the highest recorded in the last 40 years in the Phlegraean area, equaling that which occurred on the night of March 13.
