Birthday behind bars for Filippo Turetta. The 22-year-old, Giulia Cecchettin's ex-boyfriend and in prison for killing her, is at the Montorio institute (Verona), in the infirmary department.

Once isolation is over - he is no longer watched - he can walk in the corridor and is treated like other inmates: he can play the Playstation, watch TV and read books or magazines.

He is in a cell with an inmate of around 60 years of age, considered reliable both to help the young man acclimate to prison life and to contact the guards in case of need or problematic behavior on Turetta's part.

The young man met his parents on December 3rd.
