The little girl was hospitalized in pediatric intensive care at the Maggiore Hospital in Parma: despite a series of treatments in a hyperbaric chamber, she died this morning.
The family, originally from Senegal, had lived in the Parma area for several years and had recently moved into the house on Via Bocca d'Enza.
It turns out they had used a wood-burning stove to heat the bedroom: the fumes proved fatal for the 35-year-old father, the 32-year-old mother, and now also their young daughter.
The conditions of his 14-year-old brother and his uncles, who were also poisoned, are not serious: they have been discharged.
