Macron visits a Parisian market, a thick throw of tomatoes against him

The first public outing since last Sunday's re -election is embarrassing for Emmanuel Macron .

The French president this morning during a visit to a market in the hinterland of Paris became the target of a very dense throw of tomatoes .

Macron was walking among the market stalls of Cergy-Pontoise , full of people, when they started throwing vegetables at him, which the Elysée tenant managed to dodge without getting hit.

Then the security service immediately intervened, opening a large black umbrella to protect Macron, so the visit resumed normally.

It was a surprise visit, which the Elysée had only announced in the morning.
