Sixty years old, a native of Bultei and a veterinarian by profession, he is the president of the Gremio Sardo Efisio Tola in Piacenza. It takes up the baton of Serafina Mascia, who has held the Phases for 10 years, greeted with emotion by the audience of 350 delegates, representatives of 70 clubs, spread over 10 regions and in 45 provinces, to which 33 thousand members adhere.

“We must see emigration no longer as a negative fact - he added - but as an opportunity for social and economic development, growth and knowledge that can have a positive return in our homeland, through a profitable use of available resources. This is why an adaptation of the regional law on emigration, N ° 7 / '91, is strategic, which brings our world back to the center of regional policies with direct and concrete involvement ”.

The meetings were held at the NH Milano Congress Center in Milanofiori, Assago, in the province of Milan. Today the final morning is dedicated to the young "recruits" of the clubs, girls and boys of new emigration or of the second and third generation.

“We will work on digitization, on the environment and the ecosystem,” said Sara Nicole Cancedda, elected national coordinator Giovani Pasi, the first young woman called to fill this position, 28, a lawyer in Rome, after graduating from Luiss. “We will support the Phases - he added - in the transition to the new legislation envisaged by the 3rd sector, we have the skills and professionalism to do so. We want to promote a new and more sustainable approach to tourism and we will try to attract new forces and new young people to renew the clubs ”.

Mavy Mereu, 34, from Nuragus in Turin to be a digital strategist: "There are many young Sardinians, but also non Sardinians - he said - who have an interest and passion for Sardinia, but not enough is done to involve them in the activities of clubs and to support them when they arrive in the cities of the Peninsula: we need to make our network and the opportunities it can offer more known, through many activities, but also by making their existence known also through initiatives related to school guidance: the Region can send circulars to universities with a guide to their knowledge. Clubs can be of great help to newly emigrated young people ”.

Four motions were unanimously approved: one for the enhancement of the figure of Grazia Deledda in the toponymy of the cities where the clubs are; one against the introduction of VAT for third sector organizations; one for a scholarship in a University of the Continent for the enhancement of the figure of the historian Manlio Brigaglia and finally a motion for the enhancement of the exhibition "I open to Unesco" on the heritage of the Nuragic civilization.

The presidency office was completed with the election of the vicar president Luciana Sedda, president of the Grazia Deledda circle of Vicenza and of the vice president Mattia Lilliu, of the ACSit of Florence, coordinator of the outgoing Giovani Pasi.
