Over a thousand Sardinians have moved to Venezuela , where President Nicolas Maduro was arrested after the US military raid .
Emigrants from the island are cautious about the government's overthrow and what will happen next, waiting for events to unfold. But there are also those who rejoice at Maduro's fall, like Arlen Aquino , born in Caracas but living in Sardinia for 34 years, with 150 Venezuelans living in Quartu (the island is home to the same number of Venezuelans).
