New stop to the water supply in the urban center of Castelsardo. The interruption of the water service is scheduled from 4 am on Wednesday 9th until 4 am on Thursday 10th July, a full 24 hours of dry taps.

The disruption was communicated by Enas due to urgent and essential repairs on some significant breaks in the Coghinas 2 aqueduct pipeline , which will result in the interruption of service for the municipalities of Santa Maria Coghinas and Sorso. Consequently, the supply of raw water from the Coghinas 2 aqueduct will be interrupted by the Castelsardo water purification plant, Pedra Majore, for 24 hours.

While in the Truncu Reale water purification plant during the same period of time an alternative supply will be provided from the Cuga reservoir, through the consortium pipes. The mayor of Castelsardo, Maria Lucia Tirotto, invited the population to take all the necessary precautions to limit the use of water to the bare minimum during this period .
