Autumn is returning to Sardinia, with colder temperatures in the mountains and in the island's interior, where yesterday temperatures reached a low of 4 degrees Celsius, while in Cagliari they reached 13 degrees.
Today, as announced yesterday by the Civil Protection Department , which issued an alert, Sardinia continues to be affected by strong gusts of cold mistral winds and some precipitation.
Specifically, according to 3B Meteo experts, scattered clouds alternating with clear spells will be expected along the western coast and northern inland areas throughout the day. "On the eastern and southern coasts, mostly clear or partly cloudy skies will prevail throughout the day; on the southern inland areas, scattered clouds alternating with clear spells will tend to clear in the evening. In the mountains, very cloudy skies will be expected in the morning with light rain."
Cloud cover is expected to ease during the day. The Sardinian Sea will be very rough to choppy. "It will improve from Sunday and for the following days, with a resurgence of the anticyclone expected after May 19-20, with highs rising."
