In Villaurbana , after the great success of the Bread Festival at the end of October (over 30 thousand attendees and 35 quintals of bread sold), tomorrow there will be an appointment with "Forni Aperti" . An initiative that is part of "Panè - Gastronomic meetings in the village", organized by the municipal administration, in collaboration with the cooperative "Le Ragazze Terribili".

From 10am the opportunity to immerse yourself in the secrets, flavors and aromas of bread making, not only in Villaurbana but also in other areas. There will also be the opportunity to taste the bread paired with the products of the largest food companies in the area. An international event in which the starred chef Bruno Barbieri will also take part.

Barbieri, from 11.30, in the Town Hall square, will be the protagonist of a meeting, within a contest that will compare the specialties of bread artisans from different countries overlooking the Mediterranean. «The presence of chef Barbieri – comments the mayor of Villaurbana, Paolo Pireddu – enriches the event by bringing the great contribution of one of the greatest experts in Italy. He will tell his vision of the identity of the territory, useful for participants to be able to plan and plan a future of growth for our companies in the sector".

The 13 ovens in the historic center will be open and lit; hosting the workshops of local bakers and fellow guests who will arrive from Sicily, Calabria, Puglia, France, Senegal, Greece and Sardinia will be over 30 housewives from Villaurbana. For the various "Mani in pasta" sessions, from 3pm, the experts from the National Institute of Tasters will lead a tasting of the various qualities of the realities overlooking the Mediterranean. A special day, which will end at 5pm, with the show “Koi – cantando danceramo”, with homage to Sergio Atzeni and Sardinian traditions, produced by Abbabula with direction and artistic direction by Chiara Murru.
