Villasalto, the search for the missing 87-year-old continues

The search continues , unfortunately still unsuccessful, for the 87-year-old man from Villasalto who disappeared last Sunday evening from the elderly care facility where he resided.
Also yesterday, the Alpine and Speleological Rescue technicians were busy until late in the evening with drones equipped with thermal cameras. The searches focus on the area around the RSA from which the 87-year-old left , the SS 387 and the SP 27 are searched.
The operations resumed this morning and will continue with the coordination of the Carabinieri of the Villasalto station.

In the field, together with the team of Alpine and Speleological Rescue technicians from the Iglesias, Cagliari, Medio Campidano and Ogliastra stations, there is also the staff of the Fire Brigade and the Civil Protection volunteers of the Quartu Sant'Elena Rescue Operations Unit.
