Stop the passage along the riverbed between Villaputzu and Muravera. Since yesterday night the Flumendosa has started flowing again and, as a precaution, the passage has been closed.

In the meantime, work continues on the construction of the raised ford to allow transit even during low water flow.

The mayor of Villaputzu Sandro Porcu explained that "the situation is being closely monitored but is not a cause for concern". In short, it remains to be seen how long it will take to complete the raised ford and whether or not it will be possible to cross depending on the water level of the Flumendosa. Water that is now well below the height of the raised ford currently being completed.

For now, to reach Villaputzu you have to go around Quirra, which is 17 kilometres instead of three.
