The race is crowded: 145 candidates are applying for the administrative manager position advertised by the Municipality of Oristano. Only one position, permanent and full-time, is available, leading the Personal Services and Citizenship Department. A permanent position, evidently, still retains its allure, especially when it comes with a position of responsibility.

Applications were submitted by May 25th, and the list has now been sent to the examining committee. The selection process is based on an exam, and given the number of applications, a pre-selection may be required before the subsequent tests.

To participate, candidates were required to have a master's degree from those listed in the announcement, or an equivalent qualification, and at least five years of service in positions requiring a degree, with some alternatives tied to specific qualifications or experience.

For now, all candidates are conditionally admitted. The Municipality will verify the declared requirements and may exclude anyone who does not meet the required conditions.
