Villagreca, car on fire on 131: traffic blocked towards Sassari

Traffic blocked in the direction of Sassari this evening on the 131, just before Villagreca : around 5.30 pm a car caught fire during the march, at kilometer 24.900. No consequences for the driver who managed to pull over and stop.

Firefighters intervened on the spot, taming the flames and working to clear the roadway. A large amount of fuel also spilled onto the asphalt.

During the rescue operations, the roads on the main Sardinian road were made to merge into a single lane. Inevitable, also given the rush hour, the formation of a long queue. The traffic police officers manage the situation.
