Tragedy in Carbonia: forty-two years old dies crushed by the round baler

Tragedy in the afternoon in the Pip area of Carbonia , at the foot of the hill on which the Sirai nuraghe stands out.

Omar Locci, 42, died while working in the countryside: according to an initial reconstruction, he was driving a round baler when the gears jammed.

He got out to find out what had happened and would have been trapped while the engine restarted. The victim was crushed by the machinery.

The operations for the recovery of the body were also long and dramatic, going on for a few hours.
