Trafficking and drug dealing, 9 suspects in Bonorva

Blitz at dawn this morning by the Carabinieri of the Company of Bonorva who, with the support of soldiers from the Provincial Command of Sassari, the Hunters Helicopter Squadron of Sardinia and the Canine Nucleus, executed a precautionary custody order , issued by the GIP of the Court of Sassari, against 9 suspects held responsible in various ways for the offenses of drug dealing, theft and receiving stolen goods.
Specifically, 3 suspects were subjected to house arrest with electronic bracelet (a 22 year old from Borutta, a 37 year old from Siligo, a 23 year old from Thiesi), as well as the obligation to stay for another 6 (a 23 year old from Thiesi, a 40 year old from Ittiri, a 25 year old from Bono, a 46 year old from Thiesi, a 54 year old from Ittiri, a 25 year old from Ittiri).
THE INVESTIGATIONS - The police operation, called " Traliccio ", is the result of an in-depth anti-drug investigation conducted by the Operational Unit of the Carabinieri Company of Bonorva with the help of the Carabinieri Station of Siligo, under the direction directed by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Sassari, which lasted about a year and started following the discovery of an illegal marijuana plantation in Siligo.
The military, using traditional investigation techniques such as stalking and observations, as well as those of a technical nature, were able to ascertain and reconstruct a network of subjects dedicated to the activity of drug dealing operating in the territory of Siligo, Thiesi and Torralba, denouncing a total of 20 people at 'Judicial authority.
The accused, after having created strong ties with other residents in the Municipality of Bono and Ittiri, bought the drug, marijuana and cocaine, to put it on the market, specializing more and more in guaranteeing a quality product and in retaining the users .
The suspects also specialized in the transformation of marijuana into hashish , through the use of particular techniques with which they circulated a type of drug less common than marijuana itself and increasing their revenues.
The recipients of the transfers were sometimes also minors : in one circumstance it was possible to ascertain that one of these consumers, in the absence of cash, paid for the drug using jewels stolen from the grandmother's home.
In the course of the investigations it was also possible to reconstruct: a theft of 1800 euros which took place within an insurance agency, two thefts of copper against two separate houses, a theft of 75 liters of diesel oil against a truck. These offenses were carried out in order to obtain liquid money that could be reinvested in the wholesale purchase of drugs.
During the investigative activity, 4 subjects were arrested and reported in a state of freedom as well as seized: 40 kg of marijuana, 100 grams of hashish, 50 grams of cocaine.
During the operation, you will find 5 cannabis plants, 150 grams of marijuana, 5 doses of cocaine, precision sling bars and various packaging materials.
