The worker who died on his way back from work: the tragedy on the 131 DCN
Federico Denis Crobu, 50 years old from Zerfaliu, leaves behind his wife and a young son. The mayor: "A very good boy"
Federico Denis Crobu was returning from work , together with two colleagues: one of them, aged 30, was injured and was transported in red code to San Francesco di Nuoro. It was Crobu himself driving the van that went off the road on 131 DCN , near the crossroads for Orotelli. 50 years old, from Zerfaliu , he was an excavator driver for a company that carried out work on the roads, the same trade as his father.
The impact was extremely violent, and there was nothing for the worker to do: he thus leaves behind his wife and a son, not even a teenager .
The community of Zerfaliu was also shocked, Federico was well liked in the village: «A very good boy», said the mayor Pinuccio Cheo , «and a very good father. Sensible, serious. We were also relatives, I've always been a close friend of the father».
