A biology degree in your pocket taken in September and the desire to sail to distant shores. Over the weekend she arrived in Ogliastra, landing on Coccorrocci beach in the Gairo marina.

Violet Viard is a 23-year-old French woman who has been traveling alone along the Mediterranean coast for forty-five days.

She departed from Montpellier aboard her small catamaran and the stages of the first part of her journey at sea led her to touch first the Côte d'Azur and then the coasts of Liguria, Tuscany on the island of Elba, Corsica , up to Sardinia.

In his projects there is no record to reach but only the desire to meet new people. "I took a year to explore the world", said the navigator, "discover new places and meet new people and the different cultures of the Mediterranean".
