A razorbill was found dead this morning in Cagliari.

The bird's presence had been reported in the last few days in Pula and Capo Carbonara (Villasimius) and, despite being a rare event, it was not exceptional. However, it was the confirmation that this species also frequents the coasts of Sardinia.

Today the nasty surprise, the magpie - now lifeless - was on the Poetto beach, at the seventh stop, between Nilo and Corto Maltese.

The carcass was taken by the men of the Forestry Corps . In fact , analyzes will be carried out to ascertain whether or not it could be a case of avian flu.
