The neurologist Dore accompanied to prison: he had asked not to go to Bancali

The neurologist Giuseppe Dore in the very early hours of today was accompanied to the Bancali prison by the Carabinieri of Olbia.

The specialist from Ittiri must serve five years in prison (final sentence, after the pronouncement of the Cassation of January 25 ) for the crime of criminal conspiracy aimed at fraud.

Dore was picked up by the Carabinieri in Olbia, in the street, while with his lawyer he was heading towards the barracks of the Territorial Department.

According to rumors, Dore has decided to spontaneously present himself to the Carabinieri after a sort of negotiation conducted by his lawyer, the lawyer Michele Ponsano.

The neurologist has in fact expressed very strong concerns for his safety, referring to heavy threats suffered and connected to the environment of the Bancali penitentiary.

Dore would have asked to be taken to Nuchis, but his detention is not possible in the Gallurese prison. In the end, the neurologist took note of the situation and the Carabinieri carried out the prison order.

The lawyer Michele Ponsano has asked that he be transferred to another penitentiary as soon as possible. Dore and his lawyer continue to deem groundless the accusations brought by the Sassari prosecutor's office and referring to the use of the therapy called psychoneuroanalysis for the treatment of Alzheimer's.
