Laura Porta, the 37-year-old Sardinian nurse who died suddenly last Sunday in Pistoia due to a cerebral hemorrhage, will be buried in Bolotana .

The woman grew up there before moving to Pistoia to fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse and the funeral will take place there on Friday, at 11am, in the town's parish church . This was decided by the parents, Luisella Are who runs a clothing store in Bolotana, and Mariano Porta, former department head at Enichem Ottana. The two arrived in Tuscany yesterday after learning of the tragedy.

The Municipality of Bolotana will proclaim city mourning on the day of the funeral.

For those in Tuscany who want to say a final farewell to Laura , a ceremony will also be held on Thursday, at 11am, at the church of the Virgin in Pistoia . The woman's partner, Antonio Fasano, makes this known: "Our angel has left us" , he writes on social media, thanking "all those who are showing their closeness to us at this moment, there are many of you" and publishing a photo of him with Laura.

Little Andrea is still hospitalized in the intensive care unit of Meyer in Florence and is fighting between life and death: the newborn (Laura was eight months pregnant) was born with an emergency caesarean section performed after the nurse fell ill.
