The Viale Marconi tragedy shook the whole of Italy and Sardinia in particular.

The dreams, hopes, projects and desires of four twenty-year-olds came crashing down on Sunday morning at dawn, at the end of an evening of fun and carefreeness.

Many comments of closeness and condolences to the families of Giorgia Banchero, Najibe Zaher, Simone Picci and Alessandro Sanna . Many, even too many, accusations on social media against the boys , in some cases even defined as potential murderers.

That the massacre was due to excessive imprudence and speed is now almost clear from the investigations of the local police. But who hasn't committed careless acts at 19-20 years old? Few. And who today, at 30, 40, 50 or 60 years old, can tell them? Many .

A drama that should certainly make us reflect, but without pointing fingers. In some cases it is better to tiptoe towards the families, at least when the bodies are still fresh and the tears flow in rivers. Better to avoid comments that the parents, brothers and sisters of the victims will inevitably read while they are still mourning their loved ones .

And this is precisely the meaning of the social outburst of Francesca Banchero , Giorgia's sister who on the day of the tragedy had published a heartbreaking farewell post.

“I don't have the time or desire to keep up with people who comment and judge what happened ,” he writes. «But I would invite you to spend a day or a few hours with my mother who cannot find the strength to carry on despite having three children. One of them is 10 years old, the other is 16 and they read your comments. I ask you for respect, stay silent , words are of no use to us."
