An autopsy has been ordered on the body of Angelo Frigeri , who confessed to a triple homicide that took place in Tempio Pausania and was sentenced to life imprisonment, found lifeless in his cell at Uta prison . Only two days ago he was transferred from Badu 'e Carros prison, apparently after being caught in possession of mobile phones.
The investigators are now looking for any links between this death and Marco Raduano 's escape from the Nuoro institute, which took place in a sensational way on 24 February last.
Frigeri had been arrested following a robbery in a house that went badly for the Tempese merchant Giovanni Azzena, 50, owner of a shoe shop in the center, his wife Giulia Zanzani (46) and their son Pietro (12). All killed. With bare hands.
The main accused had confessed.
According to the indictment, the plumber first killed Giulia Zanzani after having accidentally slammed her against the corner of a piece of furniture. Then it was Giovanni Azzena's turn. Little Pietro, who had just returned from a football match, was grabbed on the landing and dragged into the apartment. Here, before he died, he had seen the bodies of his parents.
