The results of 118 molecular swabs on the 130 passengers who were on the Rome-Alghero flight on Sunday night on which a man returning from Africa who then tested positive for Covid was traveling.

And, great news, they all came back negative. Among these there are also those carried out on a group of Torres Calcio players and managers who traveled on the same plane.

Ats Sardegna has also completed the tests on the remaining passengers, but the results will arrive only on Saturday.

In any case, the 130 people involved will have to remain in quarantine until 7 December - as per the ministry's security protocols to stem the Omicron variant -, when they will carry out a second test and in case of negativity they will be able to end the isolation period.

In the first days of next week, however, the response of the sequencing of the virus extracted from the positive passenger's swab should arrive. Then you will know if it is Omicron variant.

In any case, the man, a citizen of Alghero vaccinated with two doses, is fine and is in quarantine at his home.
