The intervention of the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps continues for the recovery of an injured speleologist in the S'Edera cave , Municipality of Urzulei , in the locality of Fennau.

The man was joined by the first aid team with two doctors from the CNSAS and a nurse. He is fine, but rescues are particularly complicated: a tent has been set up on the site, which guarantees the injured person to stay warm, while the cavity has been equipped for the recovery maneuver and the safe exit of the stretcher .

The teams are in constant communication with the base camp thanks to a telephone cable that goes from the cave entrance to the intervention point.

The operations are assisted by two unblocking technicians from the Lombard Cnsas who arrived shortly before midnight with the Air Force helicopter that took off from Poggio Renatico, and two others from Cnsas Lazio, to widen some sections and allow the passage of the stretcher .

The accident occurred beyond the Pozzo della Grande Marmitta , at a distance of over 500 meters from the entrance, around 180 meters deep.

In total 35 technicians from the Speleological Rescue of the Sardinia Regional Service were involved, supported by the Mobile Coordination Center present at the Base Camp, set up near the entrance to the cave. Also present were the staff of the Fire Brigade.
