The asphalt plan resumes tomorrow, with the operation launched by the Municipality, called "Urban Regeneration." Starting tomorrow, asphalting will proceed at the southern entrance (from Nuoro, Oristano, and Cagliari), and will also continue on the road to Santu Lussurgiu and Mount Sant'Antonio. The Local Police have published the ordinance for temporary traffic changes, which will allow for asphalting and road markings to be repaired on the two access roads to the town: the southern access, from the "Posto Blocco" area, from the slope of the Church of San Pantaleo to Piazza Garibaldi, in front of the Town Hall, and the access road towards Santulussurgiu. The work will involve removing the old pavement, adjusting the manhole covers, installing new road surfaces, resurfacing the road markings, and repairing the roadside amenities. In both sections affected by the work, the ordinance prohibits parking and therefore requires alternating one-way traffic, regulated by traffic lights, starting this morning until November 30th. The asphalt plan, launched last year, has allowed most of the town's internal roads to be paved, thus eliminating the deterioration of the road system.
