There are 47 migrants who have arrived in the last 24 hours on the coasts of Southern Sardinia, as usual the most easily accessible for those departing from Algeria.

Last night 7 migrants including three men, a woman and 3 minors landed aboard a small boat on the beach of Porto Pino.

The carabinieri of the Giba station and the 118 staff of the Avos di Sant'Anna Arresi intervened on the spot. In the group also a small girl, who arrived with her parents, subjected to a medical check. Subsequently, the migrants were escorted to the center of Monastir.

Another group of 28 migrants was intercepted by the Sant'Antioco Coast Guard as they were preparing to reach the Sulcis coast. Around 12 they were accompanied to the commercial port of the island where the agents of the Carbonia police station were waiting for them, who proceeded to load them onto a bus with an agreement for transport to Monastir.

Also in Monastir, another 12 migrants intercepted after having landed on the coast between Domus de Maria and Pula were accompanied.

Given the excellent marine weather conditions, further landings in the next few hours cannot be excluded.
