Even today in Sardinia irregularly cloudy skies are expected, with stationary minimum temperatures. Another day that could cause inconvenience due to bad weather like yesterday's which saw the island split in two at Campeda.
Several heavy vehicles skidded on the ice along the 131, some even ended up sideways or overturned, and in fact the Carlo Felice stopped for hours in both directions of travel. Consequences have therefore affected circulation and connections with the numerous farms in the area. For today the salt spreaders have been alerted.
From Bonorva to the industrial area of Tossilo, a line of about thirty kilometers of cars and trucks was created, and motorists therefore opted for the provincial road to Pozzomaggiore to get to the plateau of Bara and then to Macomer, thus bypassing the obstacle. .
Secondary roads were also affected by the heavy snowfall in the morning.
Bad weather did not spare the area of Barbagia and Mandrolisai, with towns left without electricity for most of the day. Whitewashed landscapes, fallen trees on the roadways, some municipalities have decreed the closure of schools.
The weather warning remains in force for the whole day today, in particular for hydraulic and hydrogeological risks on Iglesiente, Campidano, Montevecchio Pischinappiu, Flumendosa Flumineddu, Tirso, Logudoro and in Gallura.
