A road accident paralyzed traffic in the early afternoon today on state road 554, towards Cagliari. It happened around 13:00 under the bridge of the 131 dir, just before the motorization: for reasons currently being investigated, two cars collided.

There were no injuries. According to an initial reconstruction, the impact between the two vehicles occurred at the point where one enters the 554 coming from the Asse mediano. One of the cars hit the guardrail and overturned following the collision .

The firefighters intervened on site to secure the area, considering that one of the vehicles had lost fuel. There was heavy traffic disruption, both on the 554 and on the 131 dir in the direction of Sestu (where many cars coming from Selargius turned looking for an alternative route).
