Smallpox of monkeys, new case in Cagliari
A 25-year-old who presented himself to the emergency room of the Holy Trinity with skin lesions was shot
New case of monkeypox in Sardinia . After those found in July between Cagliari and Sassari , confirmation comes from the analysis laboratory of the Duilio Casula Polyclinic, directed by Ferdinando Coghe.
The sample analyzed and in the sequencing phase belongs to a patient of about 25 who presented himself to the emergency room of the Santissima Trinità hospital in Cagliari with some skin lesions.
The laboratory of the Aou of Cagliari, as usual in these cases, will also analyze any other samples referable to the patient's close contacts .
