Two Canadairs were also requested from Olbia, but their deployment was postponed due to adverse weather conditions (strong crosswinds). Super Pumas arrived from Alà dei Sardi and Fenosu to support the operation, along with two additional regional helicopters from Limbara and Farcana. Two Canadairs, CAN 08 and CAN 27, were requested from Ciampino.

Four Forestas teams from the Alà dei Sardi and Buddusò construction sites, two volunteer teams from Alà dei Sardi and Buddusò, and a team from the Alà dei Sardi barracelli responded to the scene. The fire, which proved challenging to extinguish due to strong mistral winds and heavy fuel load, affected approximately 100 hectares of cork oak forests and wooded pastures .
