The father died a few years ago, with the body now resting in the upper part of a block of niches in the new cemetery. A disabled son confined to a wheelchair, now asks that the body be placed on the first level a few centimeters above the ground to be able to put flowers.

The interested party has contacted the Municipality, also involving the Forza Italia group leader Walter Zucca, who has sent a question in view of the next City Council meeting. Zucca asks if it is possible to find a solution, moving the body to a burial niche accessible to the young disabled person . "I ask the executive if it is possible to provide for the assignment of accessible burial niches, for example in the first or second row, in derogation of the right of pre-emption, to meet the needs of people with disabilities." The citizen in question, for years has gone to the cemetery accompanied by his elderly mother to bring a flower to the grave of his father, who died several years ago and is located in a high burial niche.

"The interested party," explained Zucca, "has also lost his mother in the meantime. Now he is forced to ask for the courtesy of relatives or friends to put a flower on his parents' graves. I trust in the common sense of the institutions, I am certain that it is possible to go in derogation of the criteria for assigning burial niches for cases like this. A case to be solved all together by finding the most immediate solution ."
