No attempted murder . Yesterday in the Sassari court, during a summary hearing, prosecutor Gianni Caria requested an acquittal because there was no evidence of attempted murder in an incident on June 9, 2025, in Martis, when a car was allegedly struck by a tractor .

A deliberate act, according to the person who reported it, Gavino Addis , who was driving the vehicle and who had pointed the finger at the driver of the other vehicle, Ilario Saba . Two names linked by a tragic event, the death in 2015 of Valentino Saba , brother of the second, for which the first was convicted of murder, on appeal in 2018, and sentenced to 14 years. 16 months ago, the man, who was in foster care, was on his way to a company where he worked at the time, a trip interrupted by the incident described. However, for the public prosecutor, there was no attempted murder, as confirmed by the Carabinieri investigation, but rather a simple road accident.

The presence of a second person on the scene at the time of the collision was later denied, although he actually arrived more than ten minutes later, as demonstrated by telephone records.

The civil plaintiff, represented by attorney Gianmario Fois, insisted on a conviction. The defendant was represented by attorney Sergio Milia.

Preliminary hearing judge Giuseppe Grotteria adjourned the case until February for replies and sentencing.
