Olbia: Man struck and dragged by a moving car: prosecutors say he is accused of attempted murder.

Attempted murder: this is the charge brought by the Tempio Prosecutor's Office against a 25-year-old Romanian man involved in an incident that occurred on April 6 in Olbia. Based on a thorough investigation by staff at the Gallura police station, the young man is accused of deliberately hitting a fellow Romanian, who was driving a powerful BMW, and dragging the victim for several meters until he fell heavily onto the asphalt. The victim suffered permanent injuries, and medical certificates state that he was admitted to the intensive care unit in Olbia "in a post-traumatic coma." Investigators collected statements from those who witnessed the scene in horror and provided the prosecutor with a video documenting the events. The young man is being assisted by criminal lawyer Abele Cherchi, who has already obtained a reduction in his prison sentence (house arrest). The Tempio Prosecutor's Office has requested an immediate trial.
