Crowd and great emotion at the funeral of Marcello Asuni , the 62-year-old diver from Sinnai who died on Sunday in the sea of Arbus .
There were also friends from "7 fradis rugby Sinnai", from the Club sub Sinnai, from Masise, from other associations, from the Marina di Villasimius, and Marcello's work colleagues.
Also present were the mayor Tarcisio Anedda, other municipal administrators, and friends who had come from far away.
Many accompanied the coffin to the old cemetery where Asuni was buried.
The funeral rite was concelebrated by Don Giuseppe Orrù , from Sinnai, a friend of the diver, now parish priest of Settimo San Pietro, and by Father Gabriele Biccai , parish priest of Sinnai.
Don Orrù's words are moving, focusing on the theme of the Resurrection. «Marcello – he recalled – was a diver, a sportsman, a friend. An exceptional person who has always done in life what he has always truly liked."
On the coffin, the 7 fradis rugby shirts, the oval ball, the Sinnai sub club shirt, the diving equipment and many flowers.
