Sexual assault on a child, other charges for Antonino Demelas
An increasingly murky picture surrounding the seventy-one year old from Mogorella also investigated for the murder of his partner Marina Castangia: new evidence on alleged pedophilia
Further elements emerge to support the accusation of sexual assault on a 10-year-old girl against Antonio Demelas, 71, from Mogorella.
The man has been in prison in Uta since March 26, 2022, for the same crime. And he is also under investigation for the murder and disappearance of his partner Marina Castangia, a hairdresser from Cabras who vanished into thin air in 2021, and for a robbery committed in Selargius in 2016.
The carabinieri of the Judicial Police section of the Oristano Prosecutor's Office, following further developments on the pedophilia affair, notified him of a further precautionary custody order in prison which strengthens the investigative elements, collected by the Oristano Investigative Unit, in collaboration with the Mogoro and Ghilarza Companies, on the facts regarding sexual violence.
The new facts that emerged made it possible to reveal further abuse committed by Demelas on the minor.
