La Rosa dei Venti in Sennariolo confirms itself as the best Slow Food osteria in Italy in the Province of Oristano .
For the third consecutive year it obtained the prestigious snail for the «quality and innovativeness of the dishes , ancient recipes revisited with the extraordinary agricultural products of this very rich land and enhanced with spontaneous herbs, vegetables, local breed meats and local cheeses », this is the motivation of the food and wine and cultural association based in Bra, Cuneo.

The success for the Rosa dei Venti is due credit to over twenty years of work in the field by chefs GianLuca Del Rio and his wife Patrizia Sulas, who collected the award, with their collaborators Luca, Marina and Giovanni Battista, in the Enzo theater Puccini of Milan.

Four decades in which the two chefs have prepared tasty delicacies, respecting the culinary tradition of this corner of Montiferru but with the intuition to constantly innovate , combining Mediterranean flavors and aromas in a happy culinary combination without distorting the tradition of Sardinian dishes.

Satisfaction from the couple: «It gratifies us for the daily commitment made of sacrifices, research and innovation, respecting tradition». Cooking is " a true art that must be practiced with dedication, seriousness and creativity ", so said Bastiana Sechi, Gianluca's mother who passed away prematurely, from whom her son learned the secrets of the kitchen.

La Rosa dei Venti is a quality venue that has focused on excellent catering from the beginning. One of the tasty seasonal dishes is "Late aubergines prepared with baked sos pizzos with cow's milk cheeses from Montiferru", as well as obviously the "Porcini mushrooms in batter with a chestnut cream also from Montiferru".
