A 29-year-old was arrested by the agents of the Sassari Police Headquarters after being found in possession of cocaine and over 160 thousand euros in cash, probable proceeds from the sale.

The operation was born from a check on a vehicle on which two precision sling bars and a shopping bag with holes in several parts were found, probably used to obtain the "clippings" with which to pack the drug.

In a pocket of the suit worn by the young man there were 1,850 euros in banknotes of various denominations and the policemen spontaneously handed over a wrapper containing 133.75 grams of white powder which turned out to be cocaine.

During the house search, more cocaine for 1,115.37 grams were recovered inside the saddle of a scooter. Inside the house, in the bedroom, an additional 159,440 euros.

The 29-year-old was accompanied to the Sassari Bancali prison while waiting for the guarantee questioning.
