Franco Luigi Satta , renowned criminal lawyer and brother of Gabriele, former regional councilor for industry, died in Sassari at the age of 87 .
Franco Luigi Satta had begun his career in the judiciary, but had left it in 1987 after a sensational affair . As praetor he had convicted a person of theft, convicted of a simultaneous kidnapping hundreds of kilometers away.
Originally from Nulvi , he was a member of the Bar of Sassari but was well known throughout Sardinia, having defended defendants in all the courts of the island.
