“Why am I so active? Because it's my job ”. Matteo Salvini, vice president of the council and minister of sustainable infrastructures and mobility, has started his communication campaign with a beating drum and every day he publishes a video from his new office in Rome.

Before the meeting at Palazzo Chigi, he showed the list of 117 unfinished public works already commissioned throughout Italy. There are lines underlined with the highlighter: "We have to unblock them," Salvini said. And at the top of the list are "nine dams in Sardinia".

Then the list continues with the Catania metro and other construction sites. “Unblocking them”, the minister repeated, “means less inconvenience for citizens and more jobs”.

The Sardinian works in that sheet are scattered throughout the provinces: there is talk of the expansion of the Maccheronis dam, in the Nuorese area, of the Monti Nieddu and Medau Aingiu dams, in the Cagliari area, of Cumbidanovu, in the Nuorese area. Then there is the safety of the roadman's dam on the Tirso river, in the Oristano area, the one on the Olai river and on the Govossai river, both in the Nuorese area, the one on the Mannu di Pattada river in Monte Lerno, in the Sassarese area, and of Monte Pranu, on the Rio Palmas, in the province of Oristano. The most expensive interventions are those involving the Monte Nieddu dams, 270 million, and Cumbidanovu, 114.
