Negligent injuries : the Lanusei Public Prosecutor's Office opened a file against unknown persons after an attic partially collapsed in the Cup area of the Tortolì clinic on Monday morning. The rubble struck, without serious consequences, an elderly patient who was waiting to be examined.

The staff of the Occupational Safety and Prevention Service (Spresal) intervened on the spot, whose report is awaited by the Public Prosecutor's Office to find out if the accident prevention regulations have been violated.

Since this morning, in the meantime, the activities of the rehabilitation gym of the polyclinic in via Carchero have been suspended due to "unavailability" and staff and patients will move to Lanusei. The decision was taken after the inspection carried out by the fire brigade yesterday, which revealed the unavailability of the rehabilitation area. The attic , in fact, would be impregnated with humidity so as to cause the fall of rubble from the terrace of the upper floor to the gym below and the area must therefore be remedied.

"The activity of the outpatient clinic is back to normal today with safety routes in the Cup area and with the movement of the activities of the gym to Lanusei - confirms Sandro Rubiu, head of the Tortolì health district - As regards the gym we plan to heal it in a short time, while for what concerns the Cup area, where yesterday the attic gave up, we await both the report of the Fire Brigade and the inspection of the pool of Ares engineers who should arrive for a first inspection between today and tomorrow ".
