On the island there is a large army of workers, farmers, shepherds, pensioners, traders, public officials, psychologists, booksellers, web designers and artists.

They meet in town squares and in virtual chat rooms.

The mobilization began with the first popular committees born in Sarcidano and Marmilla last spring.

Within a few months the protest spread to the whole of Sardinia, also involving small inland towns.

A movement born from below, without party flags.

Thousands of people have been fighting against wind turbines for months. There are meetings and assemblies every week across the Island.
