It is a legal requirement but it is also a gesture of responsibility towards your pet. Registering your pet in the canine registry thus becomes an appointment for all those who have decided to get a new animal, while guaranteeing it the appropriate care and the right protection. For this reason, also for the month of June, the ASL of Sassari continues with the days dedicated to registering animals in the register.

A useful and important service, designed to help owners regularize their animals, in particular the mandatory registration of dogs in the official register. This month's stages will touch several municipalities in the area: Florinas, La Corte, Illorai, Sassari, Alghero and Porto Torres.

A legal requirement, but also a responsible gesture. Every dog must be registered in the canine registry within a few days of birth or adoption. In addition to registration, it is important to remember to also report any changes: transfers, transfers, losses or deaths. The service can be requested free of charge through the ASL or, for a fee, from authorized private veterinarians.

When and where. To participate in the dedicated days, just book in your municipality (or in nearby ones). During the meetings, dogs must be kept on a leash and wear a muzzle. Here are the dates planned for June in the Sassari area:

June 5 – Florinas

June 9 – La Corte district

June 16 – Illorai

June 25 – Sassari

June 27th – Alghero

June 30 – Porto Torres

Why do it? Registering your dog is not just a formality: it is a way to protect it in case of loss, to safeguard its health and to contribute to a more effective control of stray animals. In addition, with these appointments in the territory, it is also easy and fast.
