Today was supposed to be one of the happiest days for Francesca Alberghina, 22 years old from San Gavino Monreale : that of her degree in Communication Sciences . The discussion of the thesis was set in the Aula magna of the complex of Sa Duchessa in Cagliari , a pity that now that structure no longer exists. It collapsed on Monday evening , fortunately at a time when there was no one inside.

"Last night, me and the other undergraduates received a communication explaining that we could not discuss the thesis in that classroom as everything is under seizure - explains Francesca to L'Unione Sarda - So we moved to the Faculty of Engineering" .

Surrounded by relatives and friends, the 22-year-old was the first in the morning. At 8.30 the discussion, speaker Mario Frongia, focused on “Influencer and the new art of persuading”.

In half an hour it was all over, vote: 101 out of 110.

“I'm obviously happy, but my and my colleagues' thoughts were continually collapsing on Monday . I myself took lessons in the classroom where the collapse occurred, and some work had been carried out recently, we knew that checks had been carried out to ensure that the structure was in perfect condition ".

On Monday evening, she immediately went to see what had happened: “Even on our chats there were photos, comments. We were all wondering how this was possible, that building had to be safe . This is why today I was not one hundred percent serene and carefree, what happened touched all of us ”.
