The prosecutor asked for immediate judgment for the (suspended) regional councilor Valerio De Giorgi , 57, elected with Fortza Paris and then merged into the Misto group, arrested at the end of March on corruption charges, attempted fraud at the end of an investigation by the nucleus of the Finance Police of Cagliari, coordinated by the Deputy Prosecutor Giangiacomo Pilia. Together with the honorable member, still in prison on the precautionary custody order of the investigating magistrate Giorgio Altieri, the prosecutor asked to immediately send the collaborator, Marco Pili , and the builder Corrado Deiana di Quartucciu, the first suspect for attempted fraud and the second for corruption. Finished under house arrest, they were released.

The immediate judgment can be requested by the prosecutor when he believes he has acquired the evidence of the evidence and, if accepted by the magistrate, skips the preliminary hearing, sending the suspects directly to trial. The investigation revolves around two hypotheses of crime: attempted fraud on alleged irregularities for contributions destined for a Pro Loco attributable to people close to De Giorgi; corruption because the regional councilor - according to the prosecutor - would have had the builder deliver the text of an amendment, later approved, which would have allowed a building intervention in Quartucciu, obtaining four apartments in exchange. In the dossier, many other people have also ended up under investigation by exchange vote, but in their case the investigation continues. Defending De Giorgi is the lawyer Massimiliano Ravenna, while Pili is assisted by Renato Chiesa and Pier Andrea Setzu. Finally, Deiana is defended by Franco Villa. All the suspects reject the accusations.
