"Comrade dragged by her feet into the street, clothes thrown out the window": acquitted of the charges in Sassari

Acquitted of the charge of ill-treatment against cohabitants. For a 40-year-old from Campania but residing in a town in the Sassari hinterland, the sentence handed down by judge Silvia Masala arrived today in court in Sassari , overturning the prosecutor's request quantified in six years' imprisonment.

The charges against the man were heavy because, according to the indictment, he would have been the protagonist of numerous physical and verbal attacks against his partner in the period from 2016 to 2017. On one occasion he would have grabbed her by the feet, these are the accusations, from inside a club and dragged down the street. Or, in another, he would have sent her away from home for trivial reasons by throwing her clothes out the window. The harassment would have continued even at the end of the coexistence through continuous messages on the woman's telephone number.

But, as mentioned, the indictment for the man, defended by the lawyer Luca Diaz, falls with today's sentence. While he will have to pay 1800 euros in favor of the ex-partner's brother, assisted by the lawyer Antonello Fiore, for the second crime charged against him, that of injuries, for an episode in January 2017.
